The RN – Team Coordinator is responsible for patient care and team leadership under supervision, ensuring compassionate, patient-centered services during each shift.
Practice autonomously within professional standards, regulatory rules, and organizational policies. Develop collaborative practice, promote safe, evidence-based nursing care, and participate in quality improvement initiatives. Serve as a role model, mentor, and resource for staff, fostering professional growth and retention. Facilitate communication, coordinate patient assignments, and resolve conflicts within the team. Support staff education, participate in shared governance, and contribute to hospital committees or projects. Maintain current knowledge of nursing practices, demonstrate critical thinking, and adhere to confidentiality and professional standards. Qualifications include a current RN license, healthcare-related degree, minimum 2 years clinical experience, and preferred supervisory or charge nurse experience. Certifications in BLS and ACLS are required. The role involves night shifts, rotating weekends, and no travel.
