The RN – Team Coordinator is responsible for overseeing patient care and guiding nursing staff on a shift-to-shift basis.
Under supervision, ensures compassionate, patient-centered care within professional standards and hospital policies. Develops collaborative practice, promotes evidence-based nursing, and participates in quality improvement and LEAN initiatives. Acts as a role model, mentor, and resource for staff, fostering professional development and ethical practice. Facilitates communication, manages patient assignments, resolves conflicts, and supports staff education. Contributes to department initiatives, serves on committees, and supports shared governance. Requires a valid RN license, relevant clinical experience, and leadership skills. BSN preferred. Work is primarily night shift in an acute care hospital setting.
