The RN – Team Coordinator is responsible for overseeing patient care and guiding nursing staff during a shift, ensuring compassionate, patient-centered services within clinical standards and organizational policies.
They practice autonomously, demonstrate leadership, mentor peers, and foster collaborative practice to deliver safe, evidence-based care.The role includes facilitating communication, resolving conflicts, and supporting staff development through education and performance monitoring.They actively participate in quality improvement initiatives, data analysis, and process enhancements, serving as a role model and resource for staff.The coordinator assists with patient assignments, evaluates care, and supports department initiatives, including Shared Governance participation.Strong interpersonal skills, clinical expertise, and commitment to continuing education are essential, along with relevant licensure, certifications, and experience in acute care and supervision.Shift is night hours (7 PM-7 AM), with rotating weekends, in a hospital setting.
