We are seeking a skilled Staff Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive patient care in a specialized unit.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing patient assessments, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and adjusting them based on ongoing evaluations.
- Providing post-operative care, managing complex wounds, and educating patients and families on ostomies and tracheostomies.
- Ensuring patient and staff safety by reporting hazards and incidents, and maintaining accurate documentation of nursing care.
- Communicating effectively with healthcare teams, offering constructive feedback, and supporting colleagues’ professional growth.
- Fulfilling departmental competencies and adhering to unit-specific procedures and standards.
Qualifications include:
- Valid RN license (Illinois or relevant state)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- High School Diploma or GED
