We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse Supervisor for a Neurosurgical unit to oversee operations and patient care in a specialized 25-bed setting.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting in planning, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of unit activities.
- Serving as a clinical resource for staff and patients.
- Performing duties as a staff nurse when needed and assuming delegated managerial tasks.
- Supporting complex surgical cases, recovery, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Qualifications include:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program and current RN licensure.
- Minimum of 2 years’ patient care experience; supervisor experience preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional unit-specific certifications may be necessary.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is preferred.
Skills and physical requirements:
- Strong leadership, communication, and clinical skills.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, stand, walk, and perform physical tasks including gripping, reaching, and bending.
