Position Overview: Responsible for providing direct nursing care in a Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU), implementing and monitoring patient care plans, and coordinating interdisciplinary efforts for optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and monitor patient care plans, communicate patient condition, and document appropriately.
- Serve as a primary coordinator for multidisciplinary team efforts.
- Follow physician and nursing orders accurately.
- Assess and coordinate discharge planning with healthcare team members.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Registered Nurse with credential from the Alabama Board of Nursing.
- Current BLS certification within 30 days, and Advanced Life Support certification within 180 days of hire.
- Diploma from an accredited nursing program.
