Role Overview:
Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care, ensuring professional accountability and evaluating care effectiveness. Coordinate patient care with other departments while maintaining patient rights and confidentiality. Adhere to organizational mission, values, and standards.
Responsibilities:
Perform nursing duties in a clinical setting, assess patient needs, and deliver appropriate care. Maintain compliance with licensure requirements and obtain necessary certifications. Support patient safety through adherence to protocols and care standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
– Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate’s, Diploma, or BSN).
– Current RN license in the state or compact licensure.
– BLS certification required; additional certifications like ACLS, PALS, ENPC, or others may be necessary based on department.
– Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand, walk, and perform manual tasks.
Key Duties:
Deliver direct patient care, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure patient rights are protected. Maintain confidentiality and uphold organizational standards in a fast-paced environment.
