RN – Pre Procedure Phase II, Evenings

Role: Registered Nurse (RN) in the Pre-Procedure Phase II, primarily working evening shifts from 10am to 10pm. The position involves utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for pre- and post-operative patients in an ambulatory surgery setting. The RN collaborates with multidisciplinary teams, coordinates patient care, and ensures patient rights and confidentiality are maintained. Responsibilities include conducting assessments via phone or in person, reviewing medical history, working with anesthesia, and providing direct care for all age groups, adhering to hospital policies and standards.


Qualifications: Requires a graduate of an accredited nursing program, current RN licensure, and at least 2 years of RN experience. BLS certification is mandatory, with preferred qualifications including a BSN, ACLS, and PALS. Strong clinical skills, effective communication, and teamwork are essential.
