This role requires an RN with at least one year of independent practice, demonstrating proficiency in specialized skills and certifications.
Key responsibilities include providing patient-centered care across various departments, with specific credential requirements such as ONCC Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider Certification for chemotherapy administration, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) for ICU, ED, PACU, and other areas, and PALS for Pediatric units excluding NICU.
Fetal Monitoring certification through recognized agencies is needed for L&D RNs.
Newly licensed RNs have six months to acquire ACLS, PALS, and Fetal Monitoring certifications if applicable.
Additional qualifications include BLS certification and mandatory education compliance.
