Role Overview: The registered nurse is responsible for implementing the nursing process within the continuum of care, including assessing, diagnosing, planning, intervening, evaluating, and documenting human responses to health issues. The role involves dependent, interdependent, and independent functions to deliver quality patient care.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program with clinical experience across the lifespan; minimum 400 hours of RN or LPN experience preferred.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the practicing state(s); additional licensure may be required for telehealth services.
- Additional education, training, or certification may be needed depending on specialty or service area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patient needs, diagnose health issues, and develop care plans with outcome criteria.
- Provide direct and independent nursing interventions, evaluate patient responses, and document care activities.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
