Position: Registered Nurse – Observation Unit
Location: Elmhurst Main Hospital
Responsibilities: Provide safe, compassionate nursing care by planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans. Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
Qualifications: Associate Degree or higher in Nursing; current Illinois RN license; CPR certification; knowledge of EKG interpretation; NIHSS Stroke Scale certification (required). Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, surgical care experience, ACLS certification, 1+ year inpatient experience.
Skills: Strong clinical knowledge, teamwork, communication, and patient-centered focus.
