The RN – Nurse Manager, MSN/MBA oversees 24-hour operations of a clinical department to ensure high-quality, patient- and family-centered care.
Responsible for maintaining standards for patient safety, regulatory compliance, and team performance. Applies advanced nursing and management knowledge to improve clinical outcomes, staff development, fiscal management, and operational efficiency. Promotes innovation, cost-effectiveness, and performance improvement initiatives. Supports shared leadership, develops unit-based teams, and participates in organizational committees. May function as a staff RN in the absence of personnel. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, RN licensure, and relevant clinical and supervisory experience. Master’s degree preferred, along with certifications such as BLS, ACLS, PALS, and professional nursing credentials.
The role is based at Johnson City Medical Center, with a day shift schedule and no travel required.
