The RN – Nurse Manager, MSN/MBA oversees the 24-hour operations of designated clinical departments, ensuring high-quality, patient- and family-centered care.
Responsibilities include establishing care standards, maintaining regulatory compliance, managing team performance, and developing policies. Utilizes advanced nursing and management knowledge to enhance clinical practice, improve performance, and promote cost-effective care. Focuses on operational and fiscal management, patient and staff satisfaction, and achieving organizational goals. Supports shared leadership, fosters team innovation, and participates in organizational improvement initiatives. May serve as a staff RN in the absence of an RN. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (Master’s preferred), RN licensure, clinical and supervisory experience, and relevant certifications.
Work is primarily day shifts with no travel required at Johnson City Medical Center.
