Role Overview:
Provides professional nursing care to patients by applying the nursing process within an interdisciplinary team setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess patient status through interviews, observations, and physical exams.
Develop and modify individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare team.
Implement interventions to achieve desired outcomes and evaluate patient progress continuously.
Perform accurate documentation, bedside lab testing, and troubleshoot equipment issues.
Promote evidence-based practice, patient safety, and professional development.
Coordinate patient care, communicate effectively with team members, and advocate for patients.
Educate patients and families considering their age, culture, and comprehension levels.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, data collection, and performance improvement activities.
Contribute to a positive work environment through teamwork, communication, and customer satisfaction efforts.
Qualifications & Skills:
– Valid RN license (Illinois).
– BLS certification.
– Nursing diploma or degree.
– Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills.
– Ability to adapt to changing patient needs and prioritize tasks effectively.
