Role Overview:
Utilizes the nursing process to deliver patient care, ensuring professional accountability and evaluating care effectiveness provided by other caregivers.
Coordinates patient care across departments, maintains patient rights and confidentiality, and adheres to organizational standards and values.
Responsibilities:
Perform nursing duties in line with mission and standards.
Evaluate and coordinate patient care, ensuring quality and safety.
Maintain compliance with licensure and certification requirements.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Graduated from an accredited nursing program (Associate’s, Diploma, or BSN).
- Current RN license in the applicable state or compact licensure.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; additional certifications like ACLS, PALS, NRP, or specialized unit certifications may be required.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, and perform various physical movements during shifts.
Key Duties:
Provide direct patient care, evaluate care effectiveness, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
Uphold patient confidentiality and rights.
Perform physical tasks, including lifting, reaching, and mobility activities.
