Role Overview: The Med Surg RN supports a high-impact, multi-campus care team, delivering personalized, evidence-based nursing care.
Key Responsibilities: Own the nursing process from assessment to evaluation, build meaningful patient and family relationships, and use clinical expertise to achieve optimal outcomes. Foster a safe, collaborative environment, contribute to performance improvement, and participate in research and shared governance. Lead in applying evidence-based practices, support continuous improvement, and assist with care planning to enhance patient experiences and reduce readmissions.
Qualifications & Skills: Must hold an RN license, BLS, ACLS, and have 2+ years of recent Med Surg experience with data entry proficiency. Preferred candidates will have a BSN, national specialty certification, familiarity with Epic and 3M systems, and experience in healthcare tech tools. Essential skills include excellent interpersonal communication, calmness under pressure, critical thinking, time management, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
