Position: Registered Nurse (RN) for the 4E General Medical Unit
Location: Arlington Heights, IL
Hours: Full-time, 36 hours/week, 7:00pm – 7:30am, every other weekend
Role & Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive patient assessment and gather health data involving patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Coordinate and implement patient care plans ensuring interventions are safe, effective, and timely.
Communicate clearly with patients, families, and team members in person, over the phone, and in writing.
Tailor patient and family education based on individual needs and assessments.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practice effectiveness.
Maintain current knowledge of nursing standards, laws, and regulations.
Qualifications & Skills:
Associate’s degree or BSN from an accredited nursing school.
Current nursing licensure in Illinois.
CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
