Role: Provides direct patient care in a medical/physician office setting, utilizing the nursing process in accordance with scope, standards, policies, and organizational mission.
Responsibilities: Develops, implements, and evaluates patient care plans; monitors and documents patient conditions; collaborates across disciplines for care coordination, transfers, discharges, and psychosocial support; educates patients and families based on individual needs; delegates tasks to ancillary staff; may precept students and new hires. Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Bachelor’s preferred). Must have state RN licensure, BLS certification, and at least 6 months of nursing experience.
