Unit Focus: Medical 7W cares for adult patients with diagnoses such as infections, chest pain, gastrointestinal issues, COPD exacerbations, and stable COVID-19 cases, offering opportunities to develop skills in cardiac rhythm interpretation and acute medical management.
Qualifications & Skills: Requires a nursing degree (Associate, Diploma, or BSN), valid RN licensure in Missouri or compact license, and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Preferred candidates have hospital experience, additional certifications, and a BSN. The role demands physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, and perform various movements essential for nursing duties.
