RN Med/Surg Days (Full-Time)

Role Overview: A Registered Nurse provides high-quality nursing care within a patient care team, serving as a key liaison between patients, families, and healthcare providers. They assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring safety, confidentiality, and compliance with standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor, examine, and evaluate patient conditions; develop and execute care plans; collaborate with team members; document patient information accurately.
  • Advocate for patients by addressing concerns, educating families, and maintaining patient-centered care to enhance satisfaction.
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives, support process enhancements, and contribute to better patient outcomes.
  • Maintain professional competence through ongoing training, licensure, and adherence to industry standards; seek growth and leadership opportunities.
  • Mentor and support colleagues, foster a positive work environment, uphold professionalism, and promote the nursing profession.
  • Comply with organizational policies, standards, and codes of conduct; perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Associates or Bachelor’s nursing degree preferred.
  • Current RN licensure (single-state or multi-state compact) and BLS certification required.
  • Strong communication, clinical judgment, teamwork, and commitment to quality care.
