Role Overview:
Provides professional nursing care within an interdisciplinary team, utilizing evidence-based practices to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess patient status through interviews, observations, and physical assessments.
Develop and modify individualized care plans collaborating with patients, families, and healthcare team.
Execute interventions to achieve patient outcomes, ensuring thorough documentation.
Promote safety, troubleshoot equipment, and perform bedside lab testing in compliance with policies.
Coordinate care, utilize resources, and advocate for patients, prioritizing based on patient needs.
Educate patients and families considering age, cultural, and developmental factors, ensuring safety and understanding.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, data collection, and process enhancements to improve patient satisfaction and care standards.
Share clinical knowledge, support team development, and engage in performance improvement projects.
Qualifications & Skills:
Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in Illinois with BLS certification.
College diploma in nursing, with a focus on professional accountability, teamwork, communication, and technical proficiency.
Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively and provide high-quality patient care.
