Role: Registered Nurse (RN) responsible for providing professional nursing care across the wellness-illness spectrum for healthy retired Sisters and those with acute, chronic, or terminal conditions.
Key Responsibilities: Delivering comprehensive care by applying knowledge of infection control, safety, body mechanics, and effective communication. Delegating tasks appropriately and ensuring the well-being of patients through compassionate and competent nursing practices.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate degree required; bachelor’s preferred
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to interpret medical records, physician orders, and care plans
- Effective communication with Sisters, staff, and healthcare professionals
- Minimum of one year gerontology experience; supervisory experience preferred
- Knowledge of psychotropic and geriatric medications
- Current RN licensure issued by the State of Texas
