RN Infusion Oncology – Roswell

Role Overview:
The RN Oncology Infusion Therapy Clinician provides specialized outpatient infusion care, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapies for malignant and nonmalignant conditions. They assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring it is culturally sensitive and age-appropriate. Serving as a clinical resource, they collaborate with healthcare teams, support patient education, and uphold nursing standards per licensing and professional ethics. The role involves participating in staff meetings, continuing education, and potentially mentoring new nurses. Flexibility to float between sites within 35 miles is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform evidence-based nursing care, including assessment, diagnosis, and planning.
  • Deliver patient-centered, relationship-based care tailored to diverse populations.
  • Administer hazardous drugs safely, maintaining chemotherapy competence.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, maintain documentation, and support performance improvement.
  • Engage in professional development, mentorship, and research activities.
  • Participate in protocol development and resource management to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Qualifications & Skills:

    • Associates or Bachelor’s Nursing degree.
    • Valid RN license (single or multi-state Compact) and BLS certification.
    • Minimum 2 years of direct patient care experience, preferably in outpatient oncology and chemotherapy.
    • Strong interpersonal, communication, multitasking, and time management skills.
    • Ability to work under stress, coordinate care, and handle hazardous drugs safely.
