Role Overview: Provides patient care using the nursing process, ensuring accountability and evaluating care effectiveness. Coordinates with other departments to maintain patient rights and confidentiality, aligning with organizational standards and values.
Responsibilities: Performs nursing duties across various departments including Behavioral Health, Emergency, ICU, Medical-Surgical, and Women’s Health. Maintains professional standards, evaluates care, and supports patient rights and confidentiality.
Qualifications & Skills: Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program, with a current RN license. Requires recent bedside RN experience (1 year for Med Surg, 2 years for specialty areas). Preferred BSN and Epic experience. Certifications include BLS, ACLS, PALS as applicable. Physical ability to lift, stand, and perform nursing duties is necessary.
Key Duties: Flexibly work various shifts, including day or night, with no mandatory weekends or holidays. Responsible for scheduling hours, being available on short notice, and adapting to shift cancellations in a gig-based program.
