RN – Emergency Room – Temporary

Role Overview:

Seeking dedicated Registered Nurses to provide exceptional emergency care in a rural community setting. This role involves working at the top of your license, demonstrating versatility, teamwork, and resilience in a critical access hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering patient-centered, whole-person care in emergency situations
  • Applying specialized nursing skills to support community health
  • Collaborating with a dedicated healthcare team to ensure quality outcomes
  • Maintaining compliance with licensing and certification requirements
  • Participating in ongoing training, including ACLS and PALS certifications

  • Qualifications & Skills:

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • Alaska RN license and American Heart Association BLS certification
  • ACLS certification upon hire and PALS within 90 days
  • Minimum of 1 year nursing experience
  • Ability to work variable shifts and handle high-pressure situations

  • Additional Details:

  • Temporary assignment with 36 hours/week, 12-hour shifts
