The Emergency Department (ED) Manager oversees daily operations at a 22-bed Critical Access Hospital in a small West Texas community.
Responsibilities include ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care, regulatory compliance, staffing, and performance management. Promotes quality improvement, patient safety, and collaborates with medical staff and leadership. Provides clinical support and fosters a professional environment aligned with hospital standards. Qualifications: Current Texas RN license and BLS certification required; ACLS, PALS, and TNCC within specified timeframes. At least 3 years of emergency or critical care experience and 1 year of leadership in an ED setting. Bachelor’s in Nursing preferred, MSN desired, with strong communication and organizational skills.
