Role: The staff nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to patients across all age groups, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care within organizational policies.
Responsibilities: Coordinate patient care activities, maintain standards of practice, and demonstrate professional growth and accountability to ensure high-quality care delivery.
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited nursing school; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- No experience required; nursing program graduates eligible
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse in Georgia or multistate license required
- Current BCLS certification required
- Additional certifications depending on specialty, such as ACLS, PALS, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, or specialized pediatric or surgical certifications, may be required within specified timeframes
Skills & Key Duties: Provide patient-centered care, adhere to standards and policies, coordinate multidisciplinary activities, and ensure timely completion of required certifications for specialized units, including cardiac, critical care, dialysis, emergency, oncology, pediatrics, surgical services, and women’s services.
