Role Overview: The staff nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to patients across all age groups, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
Responsibilities: Maintain practice standards, coordinate patient care activities, and ensure the delivery of quality nursing services within organizational policies.
Qualifications: Required education includes a nursing program graduate; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred. No experience is necessary for new graduates, but hospital experience is preferred.
Licenses & Certifications: Must hold a current Georgia RN license or multistate license and BLS certification. Additional certifications may be required based on specialty, such as ACLS, PALS, NRP, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, or specialty-specific credentials.
Skills & Key Duties: Demonstrate professional growth, accountability, and adherence to standards, with the ability to coordinate care and obtain specialty certifications within specified timelines.
