Role: The staff nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to patients across all ages, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
Responsibilities: Maintain practice standards, coordinate patient care activities, and ensure quality nursing services within organizational policies.
Qualifications: Must be a graduate from an accredited nursing school; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience & Licenses: No experience required; new graduates eligible. Must hold current RN licensure in Georgia or multistate license, along with BCLS certification.
Certifications: Additional certifications required based on specialty area, such as ACLS, PALS, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, or specialized pediatric or surgical certifications. Nurses in certain specialties may need to obtain certifications within specified timeframes.
Skills & Key Duties: Demonstrate professional growth, accountability, and adherence to policies. Responsible for maintaining care standards, supervising staff, and ensuring patient safety and quality care delivery.
