Role Overview: The position involves serving as a Float Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) within a support team, providing high-quality patient care across multiple healthcare facilities. The role emphasizes flexibility, collaboration, and making a positive impact through diverse clinical experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver compassionate patient care under RN supervision, including assessments, procedures, and interventions.
- Collaborate with care teams to ensure seamless patient support and adjust care plans as needed.
- Educate patients and families on self-care and safety practices, reporting safety concerns proactively.
- Maintain accurate documentation, participate in team communication, and contribute to ongoing training and projects.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; current LPN license in the state of Georgia.
- At least 3+ years of recent medical-surgical or acute care nursing experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Strong clinical assessment skills, organizational abilities, clear communication, and the ability to work calmly under pressure.
