Role Summary: The Registered Nurse provides high-quality nursing care by collaborating with the patient care team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient needs. They act as a key liaison between patients, families, and healthcare providers, ensuring patient-centered care, safety, and confidentiality. The nurse participates in performance improvement initiatives, maintains professional competence, and supports shared governance through involvement in councils and activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor, evaluate, and document patient conditions, assisting with care plans and ensuring optimal outcomes.
- Deliver safe, effective care following hospital policies, prioritizing patient needs, and maintaining accurate records.
- Advocate for patients by addressing concerns, providing education, and communicating with families and staff to enhance satisfaction.
- Contribute to performance improvement efforts, supporting organizational goals for quality, satisfaction, and efficiency.
- Maintain professional licensure, certifications, and pursue ongoing education and leadership development.

Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (preferred).
- Current RN license with multi-state or single-state recognition.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at hire.
- Strong clinical skills, professionalism, commitment to quality, and teamwork.
