RN Charge Nurse – Acute Care Cardiac Telemetry – Full-Time Day Shift

Role Overview: The RN Charge Nurse oversees daily unit operations in an acute care cardiac telemetry setting, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care. They provide clinical leadership, manage staffing, and coordinate interdisciplinary collaboration to optimize patient outcomes.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and delegate patient care activities, making patient assignments considering staff experience and patient needs.
  • Monitor equipment and resources, plan staffing, and participate in protocol development to improve care quality.
  • Conduct rounds to evaluate care quality, ensure safety standards, and support evidence-based practices.
  • Coordinate with physicians and staff for patient flow, discharge planning, and bed management.
  • Promote teamwork, interdisciplinary communication, and participate in performance improvement initiatives.
  • Mentor and serve as a resource for staff, fostering professional development and a healthy work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and organizational policies, including safety and quality standards.
  • Support research and evidence-based practice, contributing to clinical questions and process improvements.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (preferred).
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse, with multi-state license preferred.
  • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and others upon hire.
  • Proven experience in clinical leadership and acute care nursing.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
