Position: RN – Cardiac Telemetry 2&8 – Step Down Unit
Responsibilities: Provide specialized nursing care for cardiac telemetry patients, monitor vital signs, respond to patient needs, and ensure safety and quality of care. Collaborate with healthcare team members, document patient progress, and adhere to clinical protocols.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Nursing preferred; minimum of 1+ year RN experience in an inpatient setting required. Must hold a current Illinois RN license, CPR certification, and obtain ACLS and NIHSS certifications within one year of employment.
Skills: Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills. Ability to work rotating night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
