Position: RN – Cardiac Rehab in Arlington Heights, offering a competitive hourly rate based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients and families using the nursing process.
- Maintain current clinical competencies and contribute to the professional development of peers.
- Integrate ethical standards and evidence-based practices into patient care.
- Promote safety and oversee staff in providing quality care.
- Ensure thorough and timely documentation and perform related duties as assigned.
- Recognize and respond appropriately to emergency situations to maintain a safe environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
- At least one year of clinical nursing experience, preferably in critical care areas such as ICU, ER, or Cath lab.
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program and possess mastery of nursing skills.
- Current Illinois Nursing license and American Heart Association CPR certification; ACLS required within six months.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to guide and supervise nursing staff.
