Role: Registered Nurse (RN) in the Cardiac Neuro ICU Transition Program, providing specialized critical care in a hospital setting.
Responsibilities: Deliver professional nursing care following state laws and hospital policies, employing critical thinking to assess patient conditions, recognize changes, plan, evaluate, and document care. Delegate tasks appropriately and collaborate as part of a healthcare team. Participate in an 8-12 week precepted training and 8 weeks of dedicated education for transitioning into critical care nursing.
Qualifications: Associate Degree or higher in Nursing, valid Illinois RN license, CPR certification, and at least 1 year of inpatient RN experience. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, ECG monitoring, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale certifications, and 2 years of inpatient experience.
