Position Overview
The role involves utilizing the nursing process to deliver patient care, ensuring professional accountability and evaluating the effectiveness of care provided by team members. The nurse coordinates patient care across departments, maintains patient rights, and upholds confidentiality, all in alignment with organizational standards, values, and mission.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the Cardiac Pavilion during 12-hour night shifts.
- Evaluate patient needs and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal outcomes.
- Maintain documentation and ensure patient rights and confidentiality are protected.
- Adhere to safety and care standards consistent with organizational policies.
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduated from an accredited nursing program (Associate’s, Diploma, or BSN).
- Current RN licensure and ability to obtain/maintain licensure in the state or via compact licensing.
- Preferred one year of RN experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required, with additional certifications as needed.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand, walk, and perform various movements required for patient care.
