Role: Registered Nurse (RN) in Acute Care for Orthopedic Surgery, working part-time night shifts.
Responsibilities: Provide high-quality, safe, patient-centered care through the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, ensure culturally sensitive care, and engage patients and families to meet individual health goals. Promote evidence-based practice, participate in performance improvement, and support clinical research and protocols. Maintain compliance with organizational policies, standards, and regulatory requirements. Support resource management and contribute to quality outcomes such as reduced readmissions and adverse events.
Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of RN experience, with required licensure (RN license in single or multi-state), BLS certification, and educational background of Associates or Bachelor’s Nursing degree. Strong communication, interpersonal, technological proficiency, critical thinking, and time management skills are essential. Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies decisively.
