Role: Registered Nurse (RN) in Acute Care for Orthopedic Surgery, working full-time night shifts.
Responsibilities: Provide individualized, high-quality, and safe patient care within an interdisciplinary team. Utilize the nursing process, evidence-based standards, and clinical judgment to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Foster relationship-based, patient-centered care that respects cultural diversity and involves patients and families through effective communication and education.
Collaborate with team members to ensure safe, efficient delivery of care, participate in performance improvement initiatives, promote evidence-based practice and research, and support resource management. Serve as a preceptor or mentor to foster professional development. Ensure compliance with organizational policies, legal, regulatory, and accreditation standards.
Qualifications & Skills: Must hold an active RN license (single or multi-state), BLS certification, and have completed an accredited nursing program with clinical hours. Preferably have less than one year of direct patient care experience. Strong critical thinking, communication, teamwork, and commitment to quality and safety are essential.
