RN – Acute Care – Orthopedic Surgery – Full-Time Night Shift

Role: Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Acute Orthopedic Surgical Care, providing high-quality, safe, and individualized patient care within an interdisciplinary team.


Responsibilities include:

  • Performing the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using evidence-based practices.
  • Delivering relationship-based, patient-centered care that respects cultural diversity and involves patients and families in care planning.
  • Partnering with team members through effective communication and documentation to ensure safe and quality care.
  • Supporting performance improvement initiatives, research, and evidence-based practice to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Mentoring and serving as a preceptor to develop a qualified healthcare workforce.
  • Ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and organizational policies, including safety standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s Nursing degree (Bachelor’s preferred).
  • Current RN license (single-state or multi-state compact).
  • Required certifications include BLS or ARC-BLS, obtained upon hire.
  • Less than one year of clinical experience, with clinical hours completed in accredited nursing programs.
  • Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
