Role: Registered Nurse (RN) in Acute Care with a focus on Orthopedic Surgery, providing high-quality, patient-centered care within a collaborative interdisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using evidence-based practice and critical thinking.
- Deliver individualized, culturally sensitive, relationship-based care, partnering with patients and families to meet their goals.
- Ensure safe, high-quality care through effective documentation, communication, and adherence to clinical standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members via interdisciplinary rounds, case reviews, and shared governance activities.
- Support professional development by completing competency assessments, mentoring, and participating in research and performance improvement initiatives.
- Promote evidence-based practices, participate in data collection, and support protocols to optimize patient outcomes.
- Utilize resources efficiently, contribute to protocol development, and ensure compliance with policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associates or Diploma in Nursing; Bachelor’s preferred.
- Valid RN license (single state or multi-state compact).
- Current BLS certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of direct patient care experience.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, time management, and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency in technology and clinical documentation.
