Role: Registered Nurse in Acute Care for Orthopedic Surgery, providing high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care within an interdisciplinary team.
Responsibilities: Utilize the nursing process for assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation based on evidence-based standards. Deliver relationship-based care tailored to diverse populations, partnering with patients and families to meet their goals. Ensure effective communication, documentation, and collaboration across teams to promote safe, quality outcomes. Support performance improvement initiatives, serve as a preceptor or mentor, and participate in research and evidence-based practice activities. Develop protocols, optimize resource use, and uphold organizational policies and standards, including legal, regulatory, and accreditation requirements.
Qualifications & Skills: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing; valid RN license (single-state or multi-state compact); BLS certification. Less than one year of clinical experience preferred, with strong critical thinking, clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills. Demonstrates commitment to professional development and evidence-based practice.
