Role: Registered Nurse (RN) in Acute Care – Ortho Surgical, working full-time night shifts.
Responsibilities: Provide individualized, high-quality, safe patient care through the nursing process, emphasizing evidence-based practice, critical thinking, and cultural sensitivity. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, communicate effectively, and partner with patients and families to meet care goals. Promote clinical standards, participate in performance improvement, and support evidence-based research. Assist in developing protocols, optimize resource utilization, and serve as a preceptor or mentor to foster a competent workforce. Ensure compliance with healthcare policies, legal, regulatory, and accreditation standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 2 years of direct patient care nursing experience
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Nursing degree (Bachelor’s preferred)
- Current RN license (single-state or multi-state compact)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Proficiency in English, strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Excellent time management, critical thinking, and technology skills
