Role Overview: The RN Clinical Nurse specializes in neuro acute care, providing high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care within an interdisciplinary team. They follow evidence-based standards, uphold nursing ethics, and support system policies to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care using critical thinking and evidence-based practice.
- Deliver relationship-based, culturally sensitive care tailored to individual patient needs.
- Partner with patients and families through effective communication, education, and shared decision-making.
- Coordinate care to promote safety, quality, and efficiency, including documentation and interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Participate in performance improvement activities, research, and protocol development to enhance care outcomes.
- Serve as a preceptor or mentor, fostering a skilled and professional nursing workforce.
- Adhere to legal, regulatory, and organizational standards, including safety goals and policies.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (preferred).
- Current RN license (single or multi-state compact) and BLS certification.
- Experience in direct patient care preferred.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and time management skills.
- Proficiency in technology and clinical documentation.
- Ability to respond effectively in fast-paced environments and emergencies.
