Role: Registered Nurse (RN) in Acute Care – Neuro, providing high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care.
Responsibilities:
- Perform the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using evidence-based practices.
- Partner with patients and families, incorporating cultural diversity and ensuring care aligns with patient goals.
- Coordinate safe, effective care through interdisciplinary communication, documentation, and collaboration.
- Support performance improvement initiatives, research, and evidence-based practice to enhance patient outcomes.
- Mentor and serve as preceptor to foster a qualified workforce and create a healthy work environment.
- Develop protocols, participate in data collection, and optimize resource utilization.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (preferred).
- Current RN license (single-state or multi-state compact).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience with direct patient care preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, critical thinking, and time management skills.
- Proficiency with technology and healthcare documentation systems.
