RN – Acute Care – Cardiac Telemetry – Full-Time Night Shift

Role Overview: The RN Clinical Nurse is a vital member of an interdisciplinary team, providing high-quality, safe, and individualized patient care in a clinical setting. They collaborate with care partners, utilize evidence-based practices, and uphold nursing standards aligned with the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation to deliver patient-centered care.
  • Partner with patients and families through effective communication and education, respecting cultural diversity and individual goals.
  • Coordinate safe, quality care by documenting accurately, participating in interdisciplinary rounds, and supporting a respectful environment.
  • Engage in team collaboration, promote performance improvement, and support shared governance initiatives.
  • Contribute to professional development by mentoring colleagues, completing ongoing education, and participating in research and evidence-based practice activities.
  • Assist in developing protocols, ensuring compliance with policies, and optimizing resource use to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
  • Valid RN license (single state or multi-state compact) and BLS certification.
  • Minimum of 2 years of direct patient care experience.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, critical thinking, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments and respond decisively to emergencies.
