Role: Registered Nurse (RN) in Acute Care specializing in Cardiac Telemetry, focusing on providing high-quality, individualized patient care within a collaborative interdisciplinary team.
Responsibilities include:
- Performing the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using evidence-based practices.
- Delivering relationship-based, patient-centered care tailored to diverse populations and cultural needs.
- Partnering with patients and families through effective communication and education, ensuring patient goals are prioritized.
- Ensuring safe, high-quality care through timely documentation and adherence to clinical standards.
- Collaborating with healthcare team members via interdisciplinary rounds and reviews.
- Participating in performance improvement, research activities, and shared governance to promote safety and quality outcomes.
- Serving as a preceptor or mentor to support workforce development.
- Promoting evidence-based practice, research, and compliance with policies and standards.
- Engaging in resource planning and protocol development to improve patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Diploma in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred).
- Current RN license (single-state or multi-state compact).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- At least 2 years of direct patient care nursing experience.
