Role Overview:
As a registered nurse, you will provide patient care through assessment, care planning, intervention, and evaluation, ensuring adherence to standards and safety protocols.
Responsibilities include:
Assessing patient status via interviews, observations, and physical exams.
Developing individualized care plans collaboratively with patients and healthcare teams.
Implementing interventions to achieve expected outcomes and documenting progress.
Modifying care plans based on patient condition changes.
Performing bedside lab testing and troubleshooting equipment.
Promoting patient and staff safety, advocating for patients, and ensuring compliance with safety goals.
Sharing clinical knowledge, mentoring team members, and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
Communicating effectively within the team, prioritizing tasks, and providing goal-focused shift reports.
Providing culturally sensitive patient education and ensuring care aligns with evidence-based practices and quality standards.
Engaging in continuous self-development and team collaboration to enhance patient satisfaction and care outcomes.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Current Illinois RN license and BLS certification.
- College diploma in Nursing.
- Strong assessment, clinical judgment, and technical skills.
- Effective communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to adapt to changing patient needs and work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
