Position: Respiratory Therapist – RRT
Location: Highland Park Hospital, IL
Type: Part Time, 20 hours/week
Hourly Pay Range: $33.16 – $51.40, based on experience and expertise
Sign-On Bonus: $5,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide respiratory therapy to patients across all age groups as ordered by physicians
- Assess patients to determine appropriate treatment methods
- Document treatments, equipment maintenance, and quality control activities
- Communicate treatment plans effectively to patients and families
- Monitor patient responses to therapy, with special attention to pediatric and neonatal patients
- Educate patients and staff on respiratory care practices
Qualifications & Skills:
- Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program (required)
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or registry eligible (required)
- State licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner within 6 months of employment
- Current CPR certification (required), with ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications within 24 months
