Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Night Shift

The Respiratory Therapist II is responsible for delivering complex respiratory care, including medication administration, ventilator management, airway procedures, and patient assessment, primarily in critical care settings. They collaborate with healthcare teams to plan and implement patient care, ensuring safety and quality standards are met. The role involves patient, family, and staff education, mentoring new employees and students, and participating in performance improvement initiatives. Additional duties include documenting care accurately, promoting evidence-based practices, and supporting a positive work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program with at least 20 quarter hours of science
  • Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor’s preferred
  • Current certifications: Registered Respiratory Therapist, Respiratory Care Professional, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP
  • 0-2 years of clinical experience, with at least 6 months in critical care
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and computer skills; ability to maintain professional relationships
