Role: Full-time Registered Respiratory Therapist responsible for assessing, planning, and delivering patient respiratory care using evidence-based practices and state-of-the-art equipment.
Responsibilities: Conduct thorough patient assessments, develop care plans, manage therapeutic modalities including aerosolized medications and oxygen therapy, operate mechanical ventilators, and provide patient and family education. Assist with airway management, invasive line placement, and intra-hospital transport of ventilated patients. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements, maintain patient confidentiality, and support medical procedures like bronchoscopy. Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver protocol-driven, autonomous care focusing on optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications & Skills: Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Respiratory Therapy. Demonstrate strong assessment, communication, and technical skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment. Ability to perform emergency airway management and operate advanced respiratory equipment.
